Cake smashes are so fun! Each child is so different and this particular kiddo, Miss Amara, was perfection.
The last two cake smash sessions I have been packing up my van with all props and equipment and heading out to clients homes. Typically I just travel to clients homes for newborn sessions. I have noticed the last times that the birthday kiddo is MORE comfortable at their own home. So, there I go. Braking a sweat carrying everything 4x out and in of my car and driving to clients homes.
For Amara, her mom was really surprised she smiled. Apparently, she doesn’t smile at strangers, who would of known? (sarcasm) Amara did great. We go a lot of smiles and two outfits in. After the cake, we also did a milk bath session along with a bubble session. I was there, might as well, right?
The theme to the session was Alice in ONEderland. I got my backdrop from Fancy Fabrics and Props and created the ballon garland with my own real ligths added. I loved how this session turned out but MOST importantly, Love that my clients loved it!
